Drummey Rosane Anderson (DRA) a full-service, planning, architecture and interior design firm based in South Windsor, Conn., announced it has hired Greg Smolley, AIA, APA, REFP, LEED AP, to join the firm as a senior project manager and also as the studio director for the South Windsor office. Smolley is a leader in the design and master planning of educational facilities throughout New England. His 28 years of experience includes a wide variety of educational projects for both public and private clients ranging from early childhood centers to high schools and collegiate projects. He has led numerous school projects spanning from small-scale renovations and school facility studies to large, complex, multi-million-dollar additions and new construction. In addition, Smolley has led project teams in the research, renovation and reuse of many historical buildings, including several listed on the National Register. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture technology from the New York Institute of Technology. He is a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
