Editorial & Product Guidelines for Submitting Content
Editorials
Editorial features deal primarily with the design, construction, maintenance and operations of correctional facilities. Articles should be concise and informative, presenting a solution to a problem without being company- or product-specific.
We especially appreciate articles that identify and respond to trends, report industry news or outline case histories that can help facility managers cope with a changing environment and improve day-to-day operations.
Products
Our publications are always looking for new products to feature in our regular products
section, as well as in our annual products issues.
Suggested Length: 1,500 words or fewer
Photos/Graphics: Photos and other visual elements are recommended with submitted articles.
Files should be submitted on disk or via e-mail in a .JPEG, .EPS or .TIFF format. All photos must
be at least 300 dpi for print and 72dpi for use in electronic media. We recommend that you
include both. Please specify who should receive a photo credit for the image.
Submission Guidelines: We prefer to receive documents electronically, via e-mail, in Word. If you
are submitting copy on a disk, please use a CD. Be sure to include complete contact information
with your submission.
